Hello my name is Niya!

I am a photographer based in Kalamazoo, MI. I shoot weddings, families, kids, babies, maternity and portraits and I absolutely love what I do. I love it because it's an art form. I love that I can create pictures that tell stories. I also love how there are no limits with creativity in photography.

Just so you know a little about me as a human: I come from a big family with seven siblings and two amazing parents. We live on a farm and have lots of animals which means I am also a big animal lover! (by choice). I am a Christian and attend my family's church EPIC Ministries in Portage Michigan, where my dad is the pastor! My love for photography also mixes well with my love for fashion because, just like photography, I can create something and make it my own!
I feel so honored when people ask me to take their photos because I love helping people create and tell their stories. I love their response when I give them the photos because it brings such an amazing feeling to know that people love my work and are getting moments to treasure for a lifetime!
